Open Doors Foundation exists to strengthen our community by creating meaningful opportunities for families to connect, engage, and grow together. Through family-centered programs, community events, and youth development initiatives, we strive to foster character, respect, tradition, and lasting relationships.
Our story
Founded in 2016 by Derek and Jennifer Henze, Open Doors Foundation was created with a simple but powerful vision: to bring families and community together through meaningful experiences.
What began as a passion for creating opportunities for connection has grown into a year-round nonprofit organization serving Milton and surrounding communities through events that celebrate family, tradition, service, and togetherness.
From the Milton Rhythm & Booms 4th of July Festival and Community Days to family dances, holiday celebrations, youth programs, and our annual gala, every Open Doors event is designed to create lasting memories while strengthening the bonds that make our community special.
We believe strong communities are built through connection, and that when families come together, incredible things happen.
